Does TwistLace V3 have a warranty?

TwistLace offers a 1 year warranty for the V3 system.

Does TwistLace fit my skates?

TwistLace V3 is designed to fit all hockey skates, including youth, junior, senior sizes, and goalie skates. The flexible mount allows the system to conform to all skate tongues.

Do I need to buy new skates?

No. TwistLace is an aftermarket system that installs onto your existing hockey skates.

How long does installation take?

TwistLace can be installed in about 15 minutes using the included video instructions via the QR code on the inside of the packaging.

Do I still need to tie my laces?

Only once. After your initial setup, the stretchy hockey laces stay tied off indefinitely. TwistLace allows you to tighten and loosen your skates using the dial system.

Does TwistLace get tight enough?

Yes. The TwistLace dial features a powerful 4:1 gear ratio that generates significant tightening torque with minimal effort. In many cases, TwistLace can tighten skates more securely than traditional hand-tied laces while allowing for precise adjustments at any time.

How does the dial work?

Simply press down on the dial and turn it clockwise to tighten your skates and pull the dial outward to instantly release tension.

Can I adjust the tightness while wearing my skates?

Yes. The dial allows for quick on-the-fly adjustments, whether you're in the dressing room, on the bench, or between shifts.

Is TwistLace durable enough for hockey?

Yes. TwistLace V3 features a steel-geared dial system, impact-resistant durable dial, and a silicone-coated SK99 Dyneema tightening wire designed to withstand the demands of hockey.

Will the adhesive stay attached to my skate tongue?

TwistLace uses a double sided 3M adhesive specifically selected for a variety of hockey skate tongues. When installed according to the instructions, it provides a strong and reliable bond.

What happens if a part gets damaged?

Replacement parts are available on our website, and defective components are covered under warranty and can be replaced.

Can I transfer TwistLace to another pair of skates?

Yes. Transfer tapes come in the kit if you wish to move your TwistLace system to a new pair of skates. Transferring the system to a new skate is outlined in our installation page labelled "TwistLace V3 System Removal and Transfer Guide" and "TwistLace V3 Wire Replacement Guide"

What if I break a wire?

Contact us and we will replace your wires as they are covered by our 3-year warranty and will be shipped free of charge.

Can goalies use TwistLace?

Yes. TwistLace can be installed on goalie skates. Please see TwistLace V3 installation video for details.

Can I return TwistLace?

Unused products may be returned within 60 days of purchase. Products that have been installed or used are not eligible for return.

How much weight can TwistLace support?

TwistLace is not recommended for users over 350 lbs.

Does TwistLace work with figure skates?

No. TwistLace V3 is designed specifically for ice hockey skates and inline roller hockey skates.
