Growing up just north of Toronto, Dillon's whole life was hockey. He played all levels from house-league to AAA. His passion for hockey is unmatched. The game gave him so much, from gaining longtime friendships to acquiring life skills along the way. TwistLace is a way for him to now give back to the hockey community.

While Dillon's passion is still there, a herniated disc has kept him from playing regularly as he's gotten older. The pain associated with bending over is what sparked the idea of TwistLace, which also greatly reduces the time spent hunched over, down to mere seconds.

A maker and tinkerer of all things mechanical.

Alessandro’s engineering background helped bring Twistlace from concept to reality. With experience in design, manufacturing and rapid prototyping, he guided the product development and testing through countless iterations.

He's an avid shinny player, and loves the convenience of getting in and out of skates in seconds -- while wearing gloves!.
